INTRODUCTION
TOPAMAC 25MG contains Topiramate which belongs to a group of medicines called anti-epileptic medicines. It is used to treat seizures in both adults as well as in children. It can also be used to prevent migraine headaches in adults. A seizure is a sudden, uncontrollable electrical changes or disturbance in your brain. It may cause changes in behavior, movements or feelings and in levels of consciousness. Topiramate prevents the occurrence of seizures and prevents migraine symptoms by reducing neural pathway excitability.

Drink plenty of fluids during the day to prevent kidney stones while taking topiramate tablets. You should avoid drinking alcohol when taking topiramate tablet. This medicine can harm an unborn baby. So, it is not recommended for use in pregnant women. Mothers who breastfeed while taking TOPAMAC 25MG, must tell the doctor as soon as possible if the baby experiences anything unusual.
