Met XL Trio 50mg ER Tablet is used for Hypertension, Angina pectoris, Heart failure, High blood pressure, Heart attack, Kidney failure in patients with diabetes and other conditions. Met XL Trio 50 ER Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Met XL Trio 50 ER Tablet contains Cilnidipine, Metoprolol Succinate and Telmisartan as active ingredients.
Met XL Trio 50 ER Tablet works by blocking the activity of calcium channels in the blood vessels to reduce blood pressure; suppressing the beta 2-adrenoreceptors activity; possessing the beta-blocking activity; blocking the action of a substance responsible for narrowing the blood vessels;

Precautions
Before using Met XL Trio 50 ER Tablet, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Discontinue in case of ischemic pain following administration
Do not stop taking drug suddenly in case of angina
Get your blood pressure, potassium and kidney function checked 1 week after starting this medicine

When not to use Met XL Trio 50 ER Tablet
Hypersensitivity to Met XL Trio 50 ER Tablet is a contraindication. In addition, Met XL Trio 50 ER Tablet should not be used if you have the following conditions:
Acute myocardial infarction
Breastfeeding
Cardiac ischemia
Hepatic impairment
Hypersensitivity
Obstructive biliary disorders
Preexisting heart conditions
Pregnant
Unstable angina
cardiogenic shock
