Franxit tablet falls under a category of drugs known as thioxanthenes. It is a combination of Flupenthixol and Melitracen. This medication is used for treating mental disorders such as:
Schizophrenia
Major depressive disorders
Anxiety
Panic attacks
Difficulty in sleeping.
It functions by interfering with the nerve pathways in the brain and rectifies the chemical imbalances that are responsible for the signs of schizophrenia. Before you start taking this medication you should notify your doctor if are allergic to any ingredient contained within it.
The dosage for this medication should be prescribed by the doctor based on your medical history and current condition. The usual starting dose in adults is 1 mg 3 times per day. This may later be increased to 3-6 mg.

Franxit tablet is an antipsychotic drug that is used as a long-acting injection for schizophrenia and also as an antidepressant. It belongs to a class of thioxanthene drug which works by blocking the dopamine D1 and D2 receptors thereby increasing serotonin and noradrenaline. It is also believed to act by preventing the re-uptake of neurotransmitters namely norepinephrine and serotonin. These chemicals are imbalanced in people with depression
