Mode of Action of Tryptomer 10 MG
How Does It Work?
Tryptomer 10 mg has amitriptyline, which is a tricyclic antidepressant. It works by preventing the reuptake of chemical substances like noradrenaline and serotonin, neurotransmitters present at the end of the nerve cells in the brain. By preventing reuptake, the effects of these substances last longer. This results in regulating the mood and helps treat depression. It also blocks the pain signals from the brain, which helps relieve neuropathic pain.
