Tazloc Trio 80 Tablet (Telmisartan/Amlodipine/Hydrochlorothiazide)
Tazloc Trio 80 Tablet is a combination medicine used for the treatment of high blood pressure. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients below 18 years of age. It is also not recommended as initial therapy for high blood pressure. Patients are advised to maintain a strict exercise and diet regimen along with this medicine for the best possible effect.

Uses of Tazloc Trio 80 Tablet
What is it prescribed for?
Essential hypertension
This medicine is used in the treatment of high blood pressure which may be caused by genetic or environmental factors.
When not to use?
Allergy
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to hydrochlorothiazide, other sulfonamides, amlodipine, other calcium-channel blockers, telmisartan, other angiotensin receptor blockers, or any other inactive ingredients present in the formulation.
Aliskiren
Coadministration of aliskiren and this combination medicine is not recommended due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects. This risk is especially higher in the elderly population and in patients with diabetes and kidney diseases.
Anuria
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with anuria (a condition where the kidney is unable to produce urine) due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient’s condition.
Severe liver impairment
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver impairment and in patients with cholestasis or biliary obstructive disorders due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient’s condition.
Severe kidney impairment
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with severe kidney impairment (CrCl < 30 ml/min) due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects.

Low blood pressure

Volume and electrolyte depletion
This medicine may alter the blood volume and electrolyte levels in some patients. This may cause dizziness, dry mouth, and acid-base imbalance. This risk is especially higher in patients suffering from kidney and liver diseases. Close monitoring of blood pressure and electrolyte levels is recommended for such patients. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required based on the clinical condition.
Hyperkalemia
This medicine may increase potassium levels in the blood (hyperkalemia). This may cause serious side effects such as fatal cardiac rhythm irregularities. It is advised to avoid potassium-rich foods (potatoes, bananas) and other medicines that may increase potassium levels (potassium-sparing diuretics and potassium supplements) during treatment with this medicine.
Driving and operating machines
This medicine may cause dizziness or drowsiness in some patients. It is advised that you do not perform any activities that require high mental alertness like driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you experience any of these symptoms during treatment with this medicine.
