Tancet Cold Tablet
Tancet Cold Tablet is used for Cold, Running nose, Headache, Fever, Sneezing, Watery eyes, Catarrh, Eczema, Allergy symptoms, Joint pain and other conditions. Tancet Cold Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Tancet Cold Tablet contains Cetirizine, Paracetamol and Phenylpropanolamine as active ingredients.
Tancet Cold Tablet works by increasing the pain threshold and increases the blood flow across the skin, heat loss and sweating; stimulating alpha-adrenergic receptors which produce vasoconstriction and reduces tissue edema and nasal congestion; blocking histamine that is produced during an allergic rejection;

Side-effects
The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Tancet Tablet. This is not a comprehensive list. Precautions
Before using TancetCold Tablet, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. Important counseling points are listed below.
Avoid alcohol or other sedative intake while taking this drug
Avoid its continuous use for longer than 3 months
Avoid using it if allergic to paracetamol
Do not drive or operate machinery
Do not take paracetamol if you consume alcoholic beverages every day
Do not use it longer than 3-5 days
Use it only in acute conditions
Use it sparingly in all patients especially in infants, children and cardiac patients
Interactions with Tancet Cold Tablet
If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of TancetCold Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. When not to use Tancet Cold Tablet
Hypersensitivity to Tancet Cold Tablet is a contraindication. In addition, TancetCold Tablet should not be used if you have the following conditions:
Glaucoma
Hepatic impairment
Hypersensitivity
Hypertension
Hyperthyroidism
Intestinal obstruction
Prostatic hypertrophy
Severe kidney problem
Severe liver problem
