It is a combination of medicine that is used to relieve minor joint or muscle pain. Musculoskeletal pain refers to pain in the muscles, ligaments, bones, tendons, and nerves. This pain occurs in just one area of the body, like your back. You can also have it all over your body if you have a widespread situation like fibromyalgia (extreme muscle pain).

Meftal Forte Cream 50 gm is a combination drug containing camphor, menthol, and methyl salicylate. Camphor is a mild pain reliever which gives relieves the pain. Methyl salicylate and Menthol are topical analgesics (applied directly to relieve pain). They work initially by cooling the skin followed by warming it up. This action helps in improving blood circulation and provides relief from the pain.

Take Meftal Forte Cream 50 gm as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Meftal Forte Cream 50 gm for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical conditions. You may experience rashes, redness, itching, skin irritation. Meftal Forte Cream 50 gm is for use on the skin surface (topical use) only. Meftal Forte Cream 50 gm should be applied to the affected area with a piece of clean cotton wool or gauze swab. Before applying Meftal Forte Cream 50 gm wash your hands with soap and water and then gently rub the gel on the skin (affected area). Avoid taking shower for at least 1 hour after or 30 minutes before the application. Do not apply Meftal Forte Cream 50 gm to open wounds, external heat, or occlusive dressings to the treated joints. Avoid contact of Meftal Forte Cream 50 gm with eyes and mucous membranes.
