Description
Duolin Inhaler is a combination of Ipratropium and Levosalbutamol. This medicine is used to relieve symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, breathing difficulties, coughing, etc. caused by chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (lung disorder in which the airflow is blocked which leads to breathing difficulty). It works by relaxing and widening the muscles in your airways.
Duolin Inhaler may cause some side effects like headache, cough, mouth dryness, nausea, constipation, etc. Inform your doctor if the side effects become severe or persist for a long time.
Duolin Inhaler should be used in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. For the ease of remembering, use it around the same time every day. Even if you see an improvement in your condition, do not stop taking it. If you discontinue the use of this medicine early, your symptoms may return or worsen.
Duolin Inhaler is not recommended for use in children less than 12 years of age. Inform your doctor about any other health issues related to liver, kidney, heart or if you are undergoing any medical treatment before taking this medicine. What is it prescribed for?

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), a lung problem that blocks airflow and makes it very difficult to breathe. Duolin Inhaler relaxes and widens the muscles of the airways of your lungs. Thus, this medicine is used to prevent and treat the symptoms associated with COPD.

Narrow-angle glaucoma
Narrow-angle glaucoma is a condition in which pressure inside your eyes increases. It happens due to fluid build-up caused by blocked drainage canals. Duolin Inhaler is not recommended in people with narrow-angle glaucoma as it may increase the risk of mydriasis (a condition in which the pupil of the eye gets widened due to increased eye pressure).
Urinary Retention
Urinary retention is a condition in which you are unable to empty your bladder (the organ in which the urine is stored) completely. Duolin Inhaler should be used with extreme caution if you have any urinary problems as this medicine can increase the risk of side effects such as urinary retention and urinary hesitancy.
Use in children
Duolin Inhaler is not recommended for use in children less than 12 years of age as the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.
