Betnesol Forte tablet is used to treat inflammation (swelling, redness) due to various conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, certain skin conditions like psoriasis dermatitis, other allergic conditions, etc.
Contraindications of Betnesol Forte 1MG

If you are allergic to betamethasone or any of the ingredients of Betnesol Forte tablet.

If you have any untreated or undertreated infection.

You have a history of any internal infection, so it not recommended to this medicine.

You have any underlying medical condition like heart, liver or kidney-related disorders, diabetes and fits.

You recently had chickenpox, shingles, measles.

You are suffering from stomach ulcers.

You are suffering from high blood pressure or any brain-related disorder.

You have a history of tuberculosis or a condition of high pressure inside the eyes (glaucoma).
Mode of Action of Betnesol Forte 1 MG
How Does It Work?
Betnesol Forte tablet contains betamethasone as its active ingredient. Betamethasone belongs to the corticosteroid group, by blocking the production of certain chemical substances in the body called prostaglandins and reduce the inflammation, swelling and redness of the skin.
Directions for Use of Betnesol Forte 1 MG

Take Betnesol Forte tablet dosage as prescribed by the doctor.

Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water.

Do not break, crush or chew the medicine.

Take it regularly and at a fixed time for maximum results.

Do not exceed that dose more than that recommended.

Interactions with other medicines

Some medicines can affect the way the Betnesol tablet works or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.

Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements, or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.

Especially if you are taking medicines to treat high blood pressure, heart failure, high/abnormal cholesterol levels, blood thinners, anti-infectives, anti-diabetics, anti-asthmatics, pain killers, immunomodulatory medicines or medicines for the brain-related disorder.

Other medicines like carbenoxolone, oral contraceptive pills, mifepristone, vecuronium, tretinoin, quetiapine should be used cautiously along with the Betnesol tablet.

Also, inform your doctor if you have a planned surgery or any vaccination scheduled.

Betnesol Forte tablet should be kept at room temperature and away from direct heat or moisture.

Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

Do not take this medicine after its expiry date mentioned on the medicine.
