Description
Zedott 10 MG Tablet DT is an antidiarrheal medicine which is used for the treatment of acute diarrhea. This treatment should be continued until the frequency of stools reached to normal. This medicine should be discontinued if any symptoms of skin reactions appear.

Allergy
This medicine is not recommended for use if you have a known allergy to racecadotril or any other inactive ingredient present in the formulation.

Severe diarrhea
This medicine is not effective in severe diarrhea patients and also in antibiotic-associated diarrhea patients.

This medicine should be used with caution in patients suffering from kidney diseases due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects. Close monitoring of kidney function tests is necessary while receiving this medicine. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.
Liver impairment
This medicine should be used with caution in patients suffering from liver diseases due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects.
