Xoclave Duo (400/57 mg) Dry Syrup is a combination of Amoxycillin and Clavulanic acid. Xoclave Duo (400/57 mg) Dry Syrup is used to treat bacterial infections of the lungs and airways, middle ear, sinuses, skin, teeth, and urinary tract. It is also used to treat multidrug-resistant Tuberculosis. This medicine is generally meant to be used in children. However, your doctor may prescribe this medicine to you if you cannot swallow the tablet or capsule.
Xoclave Duo (400/57 mg) Dry Syrup shows common side effects like nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and skin rash. Usually, these side effects are self-limiting. Consult the doctor at the earliest if any of these side effects persist or bothers your child. When not to use?
Allergy
Avoid administration of Xoclave Duo (400/57 mg) Dry Syrup if your child is allergic to it. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, breathing difficulties, etc.
Cholestasis
