Work
This medication is a combination of Paracetamol and Tramadol. Both the drugs fall under the class of analgesic. Thus medications produce its action following two different paths of the mechanism of action.
Firstly, it selectively inhibits enzyme function in the brain which allows it to treat pain and fever. It activates certain receptors in the brain that inhibit pain signals.
Secondly, it acts on certain specific pain receptors in the brain and inhibits the reuptake of norepinephrine, serotonin. It also enhances the release of serotonin thereby changing the perception and response to pain.
