Introduction
Torfix 400mg Tablet is an antibiotic used to treat hepatic encephalopathy, a condition in which the liver fails to eliminate toxic poisons from the blood, causing damage to the brain. Agitation, bewilderment, muscle pain, difficulty speaking, and, in rare cases, coma are among the symptoms.
Torfix 400mg Tablet is also used in adults and children to treat viral diarrhoea and irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhoea (IBS-D). This medication can be taken on its own or in conjunction with other drugs. It can be taken with or without food, and should be taken every day at the same time. It should be used according to the doctor’s instructions for dosage and duration. To receive the best benefit, take it at the same time every day, and maintain taking it for as long as your doctor prescribes. Stopping it too soon may cause the infection to return and become more difficult to cure.
