Tonact ASP 150mg Capsule is a combination of Aspirin and Atorvastatin. It is used to prevent heart attack and stroke (damage to the brain due to interrupted blood flow) due to high cholesterol (fat) levels in your body.
Tonact-ASP 150 Capsule works by lowering the bad cholesterol and increases the level of good cholesterol in your body. It also decreases blood clot formation.
Tonact-ASP 150 Capsule may show some side effects like stomach pain, diarrhoea, headache and joint pain. These side effects subside on their own as your body starts adapting to this medicine. Consult your doctor if any side effects persist or worsen.
Tonact ASP 150mg Capsule may also increase the risk of bleeding, therefore be careful while using any sharp tool or objects. It is recommended that you avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it.

When not to use?
Allergy

Bleeding disorder
Tonact-ASP 150 Capsule is not recommended if you have a bleeding disorder such as haemophilia (a condition in which blood does not clot normally) or a recent history of stomach or intestinal bleeding because it may worsen your condition.
Active liver disease
If you have any liver problem, do not take Tonact-ASP 150 Capsule. This medicine is broken down in your liver and if your liver is not functioning properly, it can lead to toxicity in your body.
