Syndopa CR 250 Tablet is used for Parkinson’s disease, Parkinson disease, Stiffness, Tremors, Poor muscle control in parkinson’s disease, Spasms and other conditions. Syndopa CR 250 Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Syndopa CR 250 Tablet contains Carbidopa and Levodopa as active ingredients.

The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Syndopa CR 250 Tablet. This is not a comprehensive list. Precautions
Before using Syndopa CR 250 Tablet, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. Important counseling points are listed below.
Avoid iron salts
Avoid taking this medicine if suffering from mental or mood problems, or suicidal thoughts or attempts
Do not drive if experienced suddent onset of sleep
Do not drive or operate heavy machinery
Do not drive or operate machinery
Do not take iron salts within 2 hours before or 2 hours after taking carbidopa
Exercise caution if you have a diet that is high in protein or undergoing any tests for urine glucose or urine ketones
If you have been taking levodopa alone, do not start taking carbidopa until at least 12 hours after your final dose of levodopa
Potential to fall asleep suddenly
Pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding

If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Syndopa CR 250 Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Syndopa CR 250 Tablet may interact with the following drugs and products:

When not to use Syndopa CR 250 Tablet
Hypersensitivity to Syndopa CR 250 Tablet is a contraindication. In addition, Syndopa CR 250 Tablet should not be used if you have the following conditions:
Acute narrow angle glaucoma
Alcohol
Allergic reactions
Allergic to carbidopa or any other ingredient
Asthma
Blood or hormone problems
Blood pressure problems
Breastfeeding
Heart problem
History of fits; heart problems or blood pressure problems; asthma or other lung problems; liver or kidney problems; blood or hormone problems; depression or any other psychiatric disorder; ulcer in gut or have vomited blood or stomach or intestinal bleeding
