Description
Skinshine Cream is a medicine that consists of Tretinoin, Hydroquinone and Mometasone. It is used for the short-term treatment of moderate to severe melasma (a condition where dark, discoloured patches appear on the skin) of the face. This medicine acts by brightening the skin and decreasing the action of chemicals that cause patches, swelling and irritation of the skin.
Skinshine Cream may cause some side effects like redness, itching, irritation or burning sensation at the site of application. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen. Your doctor may suggest a patch test to check if this medicine is safe and non-allergenic for you before starting the treatment with it. Stop using this medicine if you experience any allergic reactions like hives or difficulty breathing while using it.
Skinshine Cream is for external use only. Clean and dry the affected area before application. Apply a thin layer of this medicine over the affected parts of your skin. Avoid contact with your eyes, nose and mouth. Rinse with water immediately in case of accidental contact with these areas.
Skinshine Cream may make your skin sensitive to sunlight, so use sunscreen to protect your skin. It may take a few days or weeks to improve your condition. Therefore, it is recommended that you complete the whole treatment with this medicine as prescribed.
Skinshine Cream should be used only after consultation with your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding. It is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age. Inform your doctor if your condition has not cleared up even after three weeks of the treatment.
