Peripheral neuropathy is the damage to the peripheral nerves (nerves that are present outside the brain and spinal cord). This nerve damage mostly occurs in your feet and hands resulting in weakness, numbness, and pain. There are several causes that can lead to peripheral neuropathy such as diabetes, injuries, and infections. Renerve 1000 MCG Injection is used in the treatment of peripheral neuropathy. The medicine helps in the production of myelin, which covers nerve fibres and protects them.
Megaloblastic Anaemia is a bone marrow disorder wherein there may be an overproduction of abnormal and immature red blood cells. This condition mainly occurs due to a deficiency of either Vitamin B12 or folic acid in your body. Symptoms may include muscle weakness, diarrhoea, vision problems, etc. Renerve 1000 MCG Injection is used to treat anaemia due to deficiency of Vitamin B12. When not to use?
Renerve 1000 MCG Injection is not recommended for use in individuals who have Leber’s Disease, a rare genetic disorder characterized by painless and sudden vision loss. This medicine may cause serious damage to the optic nerve (the nerve that connects the eye to the brain) in these individuals.
Avoid taking Renerve 1000 MCG Injection if you are allergic to it. Serious allergic reactions to this medicine are rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms such as skin rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, breathing difficulty, etc.
Warnings for special population
