What is it prescribed for?
Whipworm infection
This medicine is used for the treatment of Whipworm infection caused by Trichuris trichiura strain.
Hookworm infection
This medicine is used for the treatment of Hookworm infection caused by Necator americanus and Ancylostoma duodenale strains.
Pinworm infection
This medicine is used for the treatment of pinworm infection caused by Enterobius vermicularis strain.
Roundworm infection
This medicine is used for the treatment of roundworm infection caused by Ascaris lumbricoides strain.
Other parasitic infections
This medicine is also used for other infections caused due to helminths. Infections treated may include Giardiasis, Filariasis, Toxocariasis, Hydatid disease etc.

Allergy
This medicine is not recommended for use if you are allergic to Albendazole or any other drug belonging to the Benzimidazoles class of medicines.
