Mode of Action of Normaxin Rt Tablet
How Does It Work?
Normaxin RT Tablet relaxes the muscles of the large intestines and stomach, and relieves the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome. It also reduces the acid production in the stomach to prevent heartburn, digestion issues, and ulcers. Chlordiazepoxide is a benzodiazepine(tranquilliser). It increases the action of the chemical messenger GABA (gamma-Aminobutyric acid) that decreases the abnormal and excessive activity of neurons (nerve cells) in the brain. Clidinium and dicyclomine are antispasmodic medicines that relax the muscles of the stomach and intestine. They stop muscle contractions (spasms) and relieve cramps, pain, bloating and discomfort. Rabeprazole relieves acid-related digestion issues and heartburn by decreasing the amount of acid in the stomach.
