Nidagen -SR 200 Tablet is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:
Recurrent miscarriage
Absence of a menstrual period
Uterine bleeding

Side-effects

Headache
Rise in body temperature
Edema
Esophageal reflux
Acne
Mood swings may occur

Long term use of progestin in hormone replacement therapy may increase the risk of breast cancer
Blood sugar may rise
Diabetes may be precipitated by long-term use of potent agents
Levonorgestrel
Given in early pregnancy
Progestins can cause masculinization of female foetus

Cough

When not to use Nidagen -SR 200 Tablet

Hypersensitivity to Nidagen -SR 200 Tablet is a contraindication. In addition, Nidagen -SR 200 Tablet should not be used if you have the following conditions:
Breast cancer
Breastfeeding
History of seizures
Hypersensitivity
Impaired liver functions
Pregnant
Thromboembolic disorders
Undiagnosed vaginal bleeding
