Kinetozyme Tablet
Kinetozyme Tablet is a combination medication that belongs to a class of drugs called ‘analgesic’ used to relieve musculoskeletal pain in the conditions of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It may also provide relief from acute (short-term) pain such as toothache, ear pain, throat pain, muscle ache, and backache. Pain is caused by damage to the tissues of the muscle, bone, or other organs for a short time (acute) or long time (chronic).
Kinetozyme Tablet contains Rutoside, Trypsin-chymotrypsin and Bromelain. Trypsin-chymotrypsin and Bromelain are enzymes that have antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. They reduce pain, swelling, and inflammation by increasing the blood supply to the affected area. Rutoside is an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent. It prevents further swelling and inflammation by neutralizing the chemicals (free radicals) that cause cell damage.
Take Kinetozyme Tablet with or without food as prescribed by your doctor and swallow it whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew or break it. Your doctor will advise you on the duration based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience vomiting, nausea, diarrhoea, rash, or mouth sores. Most of these side effects of Kinetozyme Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to Kinetozyme Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Avoid Kinetozyme Tablet in patients who are allergic to pineapple, carrot, papaya, fennel, and pollens. Kinetozyme Tablet is not recommended for pregnant women as it contains Bromelain, which may cause abortion or miscarriage. If you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy, please consult a doctor before taking Kinetozyme Tablet. Before undergoing any planned surgery, inform your doctor that you are taking Kinetozyme Tablet.
