Description
Gabaneuron 100 Tablet is a combination of Gabapentin and Methylcobalamin. It is used in the treatment of neuropathic pain (pain from nerve damage). It can occur due to various conditions like diabetes, cancer, spine disorders, thyroid problems, or HIV (Human immunodeficiency virus) infection. Gabaneuron 100 Tablet works by blocking the movement of pain signals in your brain. It also helps in the formation of a protective covering (myelin) of the nerve fibres and repairs your damaged nerves.
Gabaneuron 100 Tablet may cause side effects like sleepiness, dizziness, weakness, and loss of coordination. These side effects are temporary and usually resolve on their own. Consult your doctor if these side effects are worrying you. This medicine may cause mood and behavioural changes. If you develop mood changes or suicidal thoughts, contact your doctor immediately
Gabaneuron 100 Tablet can be taken with or without food as prescribed by your doctor. You should keep taking this medicine as long as your doctor prescribes it, even if you feel better after a few doses. Complete the whole course to see the maximum benefits.
Gabaneuron 100 Tablet is not recommended in children less than 6 years of age. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to this medicine. When not to use?
Leber’s Disease
Gabaneuron 100 Tablet is not recommended if you have Leber’s Disease. Leber’s disease is a rare genetic disorder in which there is a painless loss of vision due to the death of optic nerve cells in your eyes. Gabaneuron 100 Tablet increases the risk of this disease and may worsen your condition.
Allergy
Avoid taking Gabaneuron 100 Tablet if you are allergic to it. Serious allergic reactions are rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, breathing difficulties, etc.

Pregnancy
