Frisium 10 Tablet 15’s belongs to a class of anxiolytic drugs called benzodiazepines (BZD) primarily used to treat epilepsy (fits), severe anxiety over a short period. Also, Frisium 10 Tablet 15’s is used in combination with other medicines to treat schizophrenia (a mental illness). Epilepsy (fits) is a disorder in which there is a sudden, uncontrolled disturbance in the electrical activity of nerve cells in the brain. Anxiety is a mental health disorder associated with fear, worry and excessive nervousness. Schizophrenia is a mental disorder that affects the ability of a person to feel, think and behave clearly.

Frisium 10 Tablet 15’s works by increasing the release of GABA (a chemical messenger that acts as a nerve-calming agent) in the brain by acting on GABA receptors. Thereby, Frisium 10 Tablet 15’s prevents fits by stabilizing the electrical activity of nerve cells in the brain. Also, Frisium 10 Tablet 15’s calms nerve cells and helps in reducing anxiety and induces sleep.

Take Frisium 10 Tablet 15’s with or without food and swallow whole with a glass of water. Your doctor will advise you how often you take Frisium 10 Tablet 15’s based on your medical condition. Some people may experience restlessness, irritability, drowsiness, constipation, aggressive behaviour, tiredness or breathing problems. Most of these side effects of Frisium 10 Tablet 15’s do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are known to be allergic to Frisium 10 Tablet 15’s or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Frisium 10 Tablet 15’s is not recommended for children below 6 years of age. Do not take Frisium 10 Tablet 15’s if you are pregnant or breastfeeding as it may cause adverse effects in the baby. Directions for Use

Use Frisium 10 Tablet 15’s exactly as prescribed by a doctor. Take Frisium 10 Tablet 15’s with or without food and swallow whole with a glass of water. If you have any difficulty swallowing, crush the tablet and mix it with apple sauce. If you are prescribed Frisium 10 Tablet 15’s in oral suspension form, shake the bottle well before use and take Frisium 10 Tablet 15’s with food or without food. Take Frisium 10 Tablet 15’s in doses as prescribed by a doctor with the help of an oral syringe.

Drug Interactions

Drug-Drug Interaction: Frisium 10 Tablet 15’s may have interaction with high blood pressure-lowering medicines (nebivolol), pain killers (dihydrocodeine, morphine, codeine), antifungal drug (fluconazole), antipsychotics (pimozide, haloperidol, clozapine, chlorpromazine), sleeping pills (zolpidem), epilepsy or fits related drugs (phenytoin, clonazepam, carbamazepine, valproic acid, levetiracetam, lamotrigine, pregabalin), antidepressants (paroxetine, fluvoxamine, trazodone), antihistamines/antiallergics (diphenhydramine, chlorphenamine, promethazine), anti-anxiety drugs (lorazepam, diazepam, temazepam).

Drug-Food Interaction: Frisium 10 Tablet 15’s may interact with alcohol. Therefore, avoid intake of alcohol while taking Frisium 10 Tablet 15’s as it may increase side effects such as drowsiness, dizziness or difficulty in concentrating.
