Ecothral 500mg Tablet contains Azithromycin it belongs to the  group of broad-spectrum antibiotics.  Azithromycin is a major class of antibiotics chemically called azalides. Azithromycin is widely used in treating certain bacterial infections like sinusitis, ear pain, and pneumonia. It is found to be a macrolide-type antibiotic.
