Diprobate-S Plus Ointment is a combination of Betamethasone, Salicylic Acid and Zinc Oxide. It is used in the treatment of skin conditions like eczema (dry and itchy skin) and psoriasis (red, itchy, and scaly patches). It works by blocking certain chemicals in your body that cause swelling, itching, and irritation. It also softens your skin by removing the dead skin and promotes healing of your skin.
Diprobate-S Plus Ointment shows common side effects like burning, itching, redness, and dryness of your skin.
Diprobate-S Plus Ointment is for external use only. Wash and dry the affected area before application. Use it regularly as directed by your doctor. Avoid contact with your eyes, mouth, and any open areas in your body. Avoid applying more than the required quantity as it may lead to undesired effects. It is not recommended for other untreated skin conditions.

Eczema and Psoriasis are steroid-responsive skin conditions that cause patches of itchiness, swelling, redness, and broken skin. These conditions lead to intense itching and scratching of your skin resulting in bleeding. Diprobate-S Plus Ointment is used to treat steroid-responsive dermatoses (skin disorders that respond to a class of medicine known as steroid) like eczema or psoriasis.

When not to use?
Allergy

Active untreated infection
Active untreated infection is when a skin condition is left untreated for a long time and has now developed a secondary bacterial infection. The symptoms are redness, swelling, and pain at the site of infection. Diprobate-S Ointment is not recommended for such infections as it may worsen your skin condition.
