Combunex 800 Tablet is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:

The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Combunex 800 Tablet. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away.
Toxic psychosis
Weakness
High blood sugar levels
Deficiency of niacin
Anaemia
Nausea
Liver problems
Discomfort in the upper part of abdomen
Abnormal brain function due to drug toxicity
Abnormal blood counts

Breast enlargement in men
Nerve problems in eyes

Precautions
Before using Combunex 800 Tablet, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. Important counseling points are listed below.
Avoid interaction with other medications

Consult a doctor if you have cataracts, recurrent eye inflammation, inflammation of nerve fibers of eye or diabetic retinopathy
Do not double the dose
Do not double the dose to make up for the missed dose
Do not give to a child younger than 13 years old
Do not use this medicaiton for longer than told
Elderly patients
Have age above 35 years
Impaired pre-treatment visual acuity

This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. When not to use Combunex 800 Tablet
Hypersensitivity to Combunex 800 Tablet is a contraindication. In addition, Combunex 800 Tablet should not be used if you have the following conditions:
Alcohol
Allergic reactions
Children aged below 3 years
Hypersensitivity
Lactation
Optic neuritis
Severe liver problems
