Cardace MEto 5 Tablet is used for High blood pressure, Cardiac arrhythmias, Elevated blood pressure, Heart failure, Hypertension, Supraventricular arrhythmia, Angina pectoris, Hyperthyroidism, Myocardial infarction, Migraine attacks and other conditions. Cardace MEto 5 Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Cardace MEto 5 Tablet contains Metoprolol and Ramipril as active ingredients.

The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Cardace MEto 5 Tablet. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Cold hands and feet
Slow heart rate
Congestive heart failure
Short term memory loss
Severe itching of the skin
Increased redness, itchiness, scaly patches on skin
Reversible partial or complete absence of hair from areas of the body
Shrinkage of the conjunctiva
Shortness of breath
Difficulty in sleeping
Decrease in blood pressure
Insufficient blood supply to the muscles of the heart
Inflammation of air passages
Abnormal blood counts
Disturbances in digestion
Inflammation of the air-cavities around nose
Urge to vomit
Inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract
Pain in chest
Excessive fall in blood pressure with change of position
Involuntary contraction of a muscle or group of muscles

When not to use Cardace MEto 5 Tablet
Hypersensitivity to Cardace MEto 5 Tablet is a contraindication. In addition, Cardace MEto 5 Tablet should not be used if you have the following conditions:
Abnormally low or unstable blood pressure
Bilateral renal artery stenosis
Concurrent of K sparing diuretics
Outflow tract obstruction
