Bularid Tablet (Bepotastine 10mg)

Bularid 10 Tablet 10’s belongs to a class of antihistamine, and it is primarily used to treat itching/irritation of the eyes due to allergic conjunctivitis. Allergic conjunctivitis is a quite common eye inflammation caused by an allergic reaction from allergens, especially during hay fever season. Its body’s reaction against substances it considers as potentially harmful.

Bularid Tablet 10’s contains Bepotastine besilate. It works by blocking the release of histamine, which is responsible for allergic symptoms. Bularid Tablet 10’s comes in ophthalmic dosage form (eye drops).

Bularid Tablet 10’s is for external use only. Before using it, break the seal and wash your hands to avoid any infection or contamination. If you wear contact lenses, remove it before using Bularid Tablet 10’s, and you can put it back 10 minutes after using Bularid Tablet 10’s. You may experience irritation in the eyes, headache, mild taste, swelling of the inside of the nose and throat in some cases. Most of these side effects of Bularid Tablet 10’s are temporary, do not require medical attention, and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Take Bularid Tablet 10’s only if the doctor prescribes you. Never encourage self-medication or suggest your medicine to someone else. Also, do not use Bularid Tablet 10’s to treat irritation of the contact lens. It would be best to stop taking Bularid Tablet 10’s abruptly as it may worsen your symptoms. Do not take Bularid Tablet 10’s if you are allergic to Bularid 10 Tablet 10’s or any ingredient of Bularid Tablet 10’s. Do not take any other eye medication along with Bularid Tablet 10’s without talking to your doctor. Before using Bularid Tablet 10’s, inform your doctor if you have or ever had glaucoma (increased eye pressure), any other eye problem, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Allergic conjunctivitis

Bularid Tablet 10’s contains Bepotastine besilate, and it is a second-generation antihistamine. It is used to treat itching of the eyes due to allergies. It works by inhibiting the natural substance (histamine) action that is responsible for causing allergic symptoms. Due to the release of histamine, symptoms such as itching of the eyes can be seen.

Depending upon the medical condition, the doctor may usually suggest a single or more drop into the affected part of the eye, preferably before going to bed. Never use these drops when you are wearing the contact lenses and wait for at least 10- 15 minutes before putting the lenses back into your eyes. For applying the Bularid 10 Tablet 10’s, tilt your head back slightly and gently pull the lower eyelid to make a small pocket. Then hold the dropper gently above the eye with its tip down. Look up and squeeze a single drop into your eye. Then close the eye for 2-3 minutes without blinking. Then gently press your finger into the inside corner of your eye for one minute. Wait for a minimum of 5 minutes before using any other eye medicine.

Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight
