Contraindications of Brufen 400 MG

If you are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin, any other medicines of the NSAID group or any other ingredients of Brufen 400 tablet.

If you have experienced bleeding from the stomach, have stomach ulcers or bleeding from the stomach or gut.

If you have an increased bleeding tendency.

If you suffer from severe heart, kidney or liver failure.
-
If you are pregnant (last 3 months).

You have stomach-related problems like bleeding from the stomach and ulcers (ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease) or bleeding disorders.

You have a serious disease of the kidney or liver.

You suffer from autoimmune disorders like systemic lupus erythematosus (risk of aseptic meningitis), mixed connective tissue disorders.

You are pregnant or are planning to get pregnant.

Use this medicine with caution in the case of children and the elderly.

Take Brufen 400 tablet as directed by your doctor.

The medicine is taken orally and may be taken with or without food, as a whole with a sufficient amount of water.

Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements, or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.

Especially if you are taking medicines (disease class from the drug interaction) for eg. to treat high blood pressure, heart failure, high/abnormal cholesterol levels, blood thinners, anti-infectives, anti-diabetics, anti-asthmatics, pain killers, immunomodulatory medicines or medicines for the brain-related disorder.

Medicines to prevent blood clot such as warfarin should be used cautiously as it increases the risk of bleeding.
