INTRODUCTION
BEIPOS contain Bepotastine besilate which belongs to a group of medicine called antihistamines. It is used to treat itching associated with signs and symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis.
Allergic conjunctivitis is inflammation of the lining of the eye (conjunctiva) due to an allergy which causes symptoms such as eye redness, itching and increased tears. this works by preventing the effects of certain inflammatory substances, which are produced by cells in your eyes and sometimes cause allergic reactions.
Always use this exactly as your doctor has told you. Check the label for directions before use. The most common side effects are taste change, eye irritation, headache and nasopharyngitis. Before taking this medicine tell your doctor if you have ever had kidney disease, heart disease, liver problems.
