You can give Advent 457mg Tablet DT to your child with or without food. It is better to give it with food as that helps increase absorption and decrease the risk of stomach upset. The doctor may prescribe giving it two to three times a day. Medicine dose depends on the severity of the infection, its type, and your child’s body weight and age. So, stick to the dose, time, and way prescribed. If your child vomits the medicine within 30 minutes of intake, let the child calm down and repeat the dose. Do not double dose if it’s the time for the next dose.
Advent 457mg Tablet DT may cause vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain, and allergy. These side effects should diminish on their own. But, in case they persist or start bothering your child, you must not delay speaking to your child’s doctor.

Advent 457mg Tablet DT is an antibiotic medicine used to treat infections caused by bacteria, such as Infections of the ear, nose, throat, genitourinary tract, skin and skin structure, and lower respiratory tract.
Advent 457mg Tablet DT is also used for the treatment of H. pylori infection and ulcer disease.
Side effects of Advent 457mg Tablet DT
The most common side effects of Advent 457mg Tablet DT are – Nausea, Vomiting, diarrhea, rash, changes in taste, headache.
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while using Advent 457mg Tablet DT
Do not use Advent 457mg Tablet DT if you are allergic to – Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Advent 457mg Tablet DT.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Advent 457mg Tablet DT contains – Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid
Amoxicillin is an antibacterial drug, It works by stopping the growth of bacteria.
Clavulanic Acid works by preventing bacteria from destroying amoxicillin.
Dosage of Advent 457mg Tablet DT
The dosage of Advent 457 mg Tablet DT depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.
Advent 457 mg Tablet DT is usually taken every 12 hours (twice a day) or every 8 hours (three times a day) with or without food.
Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
Overdose of Advent 457 mg Tablet DT
If you forget to take a dose of Advent 457 mg Tablet DT, take the missed dose as soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.
Symptoms of overdose with Advent 457 mg Tablet DT – cloudy or bloody urine, decreased urination, swelling of any part of the body, confusion, nausea, vomiting.

It takes about 1 to 2 hours to show the effect of the medicine.
