It produces its action by producing red blood cells by stimulating bone marrow.

It is used in the treatment of anemia due to chronic kidney disease and cancer chemotherapy

• Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to Erythropoietin

• Pure red cell aplasia begins after the treatment with Erythropoietin alfa
• It is contraindicated to use this medicine in cancer patients whose anemia is caused by other than chemotherapy
