Twinblok Trio ER Tablet contains Chlorthalidone, Cilnidipine and Metoprolol Succinate as active ingredients.
Twinblok Trio ER Tablet works by increasing elimination of sodium and chloride and therefore water from the body; suppressing the beta 2-adrenoreceptors activity; possessing the beta-blocking activity; blocking the activity of calcium channels in the blood vessels to reduce blood pressure;

Side-effects
The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Twinblok Trio ER Tablet. This is not a comprehensive list. Precautions
Before using Twinblok Trio ER Tablet, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Allergies
Asthma
Avoid drinking alcohol
Avoid getting dehydrated during exercise and in hot weather
Consult your doctor in case of existing fluid and electrolyte disturbances, hepatic cirrhosis, severe heart failure, hyperuricemia, mild to moderate renal impairment
Discontinue in case of ischemic pain following administration
Do not stop taking drug suddenly in case of angina
Do not take chlorthalidone and potassium salt or a potassium sparing diuretic
Exercise caution in case of kidney or liver disease and diabetes
Liver disease
Interactions with Twinblok Trio ER Tablet
If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Twinblok Trio ER Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Twinblok Trio ER Tablet may interact with the following drugs and products:
Aldesleukin
Amiodarone
Antihypertensive drugs

When not to use Twinblok Trio ER Tablet
Hypersensitivity to Twinblok Trio ER Tablet is a contraindication. In addition, Twinblok Trio ER Tablet should not be used if you have the following conditions:
Acute myocardial infarction
Cardiac ischemia
Hypersensitivity
Lack of urine production
Preexisting heart conditions
Sulfa allergy
Unstable angina
cardiogenic shock
decompensated cardiac failure
heart block greater than first degree
