Description
Terapress 2 mg Tablet is an antihypertensive medicine which is used to treat high blood pressure and relieve symptoms of Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy (prostate enlargement) such as painful urination or urinary urgency. This medicine should be used with caution since it may cause temporary loss of consciousness due to the sudden decrease in blood pressure (syncope). This medicine is not recommended for use in children.

This medicine is used to reduce high blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels and allowing the blood to flow smoothly.
Benign prostatic hyperplasia
This medicine is used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (prostate enlargement) for relaxing the smooth muscles and relieving the symptoms of painful and frequent urination.

Allergy
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to terazosin or any other quinazolines.

Renal failure
Terapress 2 mg Tablet is not recommended for use in patients with bladder overflow, anuria, or advanced renal failure due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects.
Cardiac disorders
Caution is advised while using this medicine in patients with cardiac failure or pulmonary edema due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects.
Use in pediatrics
This medicine is not recommended for use in children.
Dosage
Missed Dose
If a dose of Terapress 2 mg Tablet is missed, take the dose as soon as you remember it. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one.
