Obimet GX 3 PR Tablet is used for Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus, Maturity onset diabetes, Type 2 diabetes mellitus, Polycystic ovary syndrome and other conditions. Obimet GX 3 PR Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Obimet GX 3 PR Tablet contains Glimepiride and Metformin as active ingredients.

Obimet GX 3 PR Tablet is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:
Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus

Impairment of liver function
Porphyria cutanea tarda
Hepatic porphyria reactions

When not to use Obimet GX 3 PR Tablet
Hypersensitivity to Obimet GX 3 PR Tablet is a contraindication. In addition, Obimet GX 3 PR Tablet should not be used if you have the following conditions:
Acute myocardial infarction
Hypersensitivity to sulfonamide derivatives
Hypersensitivity to this drug
