Diclotal Forte Tablet
Diclotal-Forte Tablet is a combination of Diclofenac and Paracetamol. It is used to reduce pain due to various conditions such as headache, toothache, backache, menstrual pain, sprains, and strains.
Diclotal-Forte Tablet also provides effective relief from pain, stiffness, and swelling due to ankylosing spondylitis (pain due to fusing of bones in the spine), osteoarthritis (pain on movement due to wearing of the protective covering at the ends of the bones) and rheumatoid arthritis (a type of arthritis where the body’s immunity attacks the small joints and damages it). This medicine blocks the release of a chemical that causes pain and swelling, thus relieving these symptoms.
Diclotal-Forte Tablet causes side effects like nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, loss of appetite, and diarrhoea. Avoid this medicine if you are allergic to it. In some patients, this medicine may cause dizziness and drowsiness. Therefore, avoid driving or operating machines if you feel drowsy or dizzy after taking this medicine.
Diclotal-Forte Tablet can be taken with food, milk, or an antacid (that your doctor may prescribe) to avoid stomach irritation. For the ease of remembering, take it at around the same time every day. Dan P Tablet relieves pain and swelling due to arthritic conditions but does not cure it. Do not self-medicate or use it beyond the prescribed duration.
Diclotal-Forte Tablet has to be used with caution if you have a history of stomach or intestinal bleeding, heart problems, asthma, and severe liver and kidney problems. Inform your doctor if you have a history of medical conditions and any medications that you may be taking. This medicine may affect the development of your foetus. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or are breastfeeding.

What is it prescribed for?
Ankylosing Spondylitis
Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is a type of arthritis that primarily affects the spine and causes some of the small bones in the spine to fuse. AS begins in the lower back spine and can increase up to the neck. Diclotal-Forte Tablet is used to relieve stiffness and pain (especially in the lower back, hip, and pelvis) associated with ankylosing spondylitis.
Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a condition when your body’s immune system attacks the lining of your small joints and also affect other parts of the body. RA is a form of arthritis where the same joints on both sides of the body are affected. Diclotal-Forte Tablet is used to relieve swelling and pain in the joints due to RA.
Osteoarthritis
Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common form of arthritis. When a joint develops OA, the cartilage (protective tissue at the ends of the bones) breaks down, so the bones begin to rub against one another. This causes pain, stiffness, and difficulty in walking, standing or performing other activities. Diclotal-Forte Tablet is used to relieve pain and stiffness due to OA.
Dysmenorrhoea
Dysmenorrhoea (painful periods) is a throbbing, aching cramp or pain that you get in your lower belly just before and during your periods. Diclotal-Forte Tablet is used for the treatment of cramps and pain during periods.
Mild to Moderate pain
Diclotal-Forte Tablet provides relief from headache, backache, toothache, sprain, and strain.
