CREVAST GOLD 20MG CAPSULE 10’S belongs to a group of antihyperlipidemic and antiplatelets used to treat heart attack, myocardial infarction (blockage of the blood to muscles of the heart), angina (chest pain), and stroke. A heart attack happens when the blood flow to the heart is blocked. The blockage is most often a build-up of cholesterol, fat, and other substances, which form a plaque (semi-hard accumulation of substance from fluid) in the arteries that supply to the heart. Sometimes, a plaque can burst and form a clot that blocks the flow of blood. Symptoms of a heart attack include chest pain, tightness in the chest, pain in the neck, arm, or back.
CREVAST GOLD 20MG CAPSULE 10’S is a fixed-dose combination composed of three medicines, namely, Rosuvastatin, Clopidogrel, and Aspirin. Rosuvastatin belongs to a group of drugs known as antihyperlipidemic. Rosuvastatin lowers the level of lipid. It blocks the ability of the body to produce bad cholesterol and improves the ability of the body to produce good cholesterol. Clopidogrel and aspirin both belong to a group of drugs known as Antiplatelet. They work by preventing the blood from sticking together and decrease the production of clots which is harmful to the body. Altogether CREVAST GOLD 20MG CAPSULE 10’S help to reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke and heart-related chest pain (angina).
CREVAST GOLD 20MG CAPSULE 10’S is available in the form of oral capsules. It is usually taking one time a day with water or as prescribed by your doctor. Doses of the CREVAST GOLD 20MG CAPSULE 10’S will decide by your doctor. It should be taken after eating food (low lipid food). In some cases, CREVAST GOLD 20MG CAPSULE 10’S can cause side effects like Headache, Muscle pain, Increased tendency of bleeding, stomach pain, Indigestion, Bruise (discolouration of the skin), bleeding in the nose, Weakness, Gastrointestinal bleeding, Diarrhea, and Nausea. Like other medicines, CREVAST GOLD 20MG CAPSULE 10’S may cause some side effects. However, these side effects are temporary and resolve after some time. The most common side effects of CREVAST GOLD 20MG CAPSULE 10’S are headache, muscle pain, increased tendency of bleeding, stomach pain, indigestion, bruise (discolouration of the skin), bleeding in the nose, weakness, gastrointestinal bleeding, diarrhoea, and nausea. Everyone doesn’t need to experience the above side effects. In case of any discomfort, speak with your doctor.

Drug Interactions
Drug-Drug Interactions: Care should be exercised when CREVAST GOLD 20MG CAPSULE 10’S is administered in combination with anti-HIV drugs (ritonavir, lopinavir, darunavir, atazanavir, indinavir) and antifungal (itraconazole), blood thinners (warfarin, heparin), anti-arthritis drug (colchicine), heart-related medicine (digoxin), and immune system affecting drug (cyclosporine).
Drug-Food Interactions: Alcoholic beverages and grapefruit or its juice intake should be avoided with CREVAST GOLD 20MG CAPSULE 10’S as it may interact with CREVAST GOLD 20MG CAPSULE 10’S to produce unpleasant side effects like muscle problems and bleeding disorder.
