Carbophage 500 MG Tablet XR is an anti-diabetic medicine. It is used to control high blood sugar levels due to type II Diabetes mellitus (non-insulin-dependent). When not to use?

Allergy

Metabolic Acidosis
Metabolic acidosis is a condition characterized by high levels of acid in your blood. The symptoms include vomiting, confusion, weakness, vomiting, increased heartbeat, etc. Carbophage 500 MG Tablet XR is not recommended if you have metabolic acidosis as this medicine may worsen your condition.
Severe kidney impairment
