Amantex 100mg is used to treat Parkinsons disease and similar conditions. It is used to prevent and treat flu caused by Influenza A virus
How does Amantadine work:
Amantex 100mg works by correcting a chemical imbalance in Parkinsons disease.
How should Amantadine be used:
It is usually taken once or twice a day. Take early in the day to keep from having sleep problems. Take with or without food. Take with food if it causes an upset stomach. You may sprinkle contents of capsule on soft food or liquid. Do not chew.
Common side effects of Amantadine :
Feeling lightheaded, sleepy, having blurred eyesight, or a change in thinking clearly. Upset stomach or throwing up. Inability to sleep.
What do I do if I miss a dose
Take a missed dose as soon as you think about it. – If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your normal time. – Many times this drug is taken on an as needed basis.
What precautions should I take when taking Amantadine :
Tell your doctor if you are allergic to any drugs. Make sure to tell about the allergy and what signs you had. This includes telling about rash; hives; itching; shortness of breath; wheezing; cough; swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat; or any other signs.

Alert your doctor if you notice a big change in balance, Change in thinking clearly and with logic; Very upset stomach or throwing up; Any rash; Side effect or health problem is not better or you are feeling worse.
