Contraindications of Acular Ls 0.4 %

If you are allergic to Ketorolac or any other ingredients of Acular LS eye drops.

If you are allergic to any other NSAIDs (painkiller medicines) like aspirin, ibuprofen, ketoprofen, diclofenac, etc.
Side effects of Acular Ls 0.4 %

Eye pain

Itching and/or redness of the eyes

Irritation in the eyes

Burning or stinging in the eyes

Eye infection

Eye inflammation
-
Swelling/puffiness of the eyes or eyelid

Eye discomfort

Headache
Precautions and Warnings of Acular Ls 0.4 %
Other General Warnings
-
You have any other eye problems like corneal damage, dry eye syndrome, vision or sight disturbances, etc.

You have diabetes.
-
You have rheumatoid arthritis.
-
You had any eye surgery.
-
You have any bleeding problems, stomach ulcer or you bruise easily.
-
You need to avoid wearing contact lenses after cataract surgery.
-
You experience irritation, pain, redness of the eye and changes in vision occur or your condition worsens after using Acular LS eye drops, you may need to discontinue the treatment.

Acular LS eye drops is not recommended for patients below 18 years.

How Does It Work?
Directions for Use of Acular Ls 0.4 %

Use Acular LS eye drops as instructed by your doctor or pharmacist.

Follow all the directions carefully and do not miss any doses.

Read the instructions on the label before usage.

Shake well before use.
-
Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying.
-
Use the exact number of drops recommended.
-
After instilling the drops, close your eyes for 2-3 minutes, do not blink or squeeze.
-
Avoid touching your eyes with the dropper. Keep the dropper clean.
-
Wipe any excess liquid from your face with a napkin or tissue.
-
If you are prescribed any other eye drops, you need to keep an interval of at least 5 minutes between both the drops.
Interactions of Acular Ls 0.4 %
Interactions with other medicines

Tell the doctor if you are taking any other medicines, herbal preparations and supplements to avoid any interaction.

Concomitant use of Acular LS eye drops along with topical NSAID like diclofenac and steroids like hydrocortisone, mometasone should be used with caution as it may slow or delay healing.

If you use another eye drop product concomitantly with Acular LS eye drops, keep a minimum gap of 15 minutes between the application of both the medicines.
Storage and disposal of Acular Ls 0.4 %

Store Acular LS eye drops below 30°C in a clean and dry place.

Keep the medicine away from children and pets.
-
You must not use the eye drops once the expiry date has passed and discard it properly.
-
You need to discard the medicine 4 weeks from first opening it.
-
Do not use the eye drops if you notice the contents are of a different colour in any way or if particles are present.

Overdose
Missed a Dose
