Depsol Forte Tablet
Depsol Forte Tablet is a combination medicine that consists of imipramine and diazepam. It is an effective medicine used for the treatment of depression (a medical condition that affects your mood). It helps in regulating mood and behavioural changes thereby helping in treating mental health conditions. Depsol Forte Tablet works by increasing the levels of a chemical substance in the brain called serotonin and helps in regulating mood and treats depression.
Depsol Forte Tablet may cause side effects like weight gain, tiredness, constipation, dry mouth, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms stay for a long time or if they become severe. This medicine may also cause dizziness and blurred vision. Hence do not drive or operate any machine during the treatment. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. Depsol Forte Tablet is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age.
Depsol Forte Tablet can be taken with or without food. The duration of treatment will be decided by your doctor based on the severity of your condition and other underlying conditions. When not to use?
Allergy
Do not take Depsol Forte Tablet if you are allergic to it. If you notice any symptoms such as a skin rash, itching/swelling anywhere on your body, dizziness, breathing difficulty, etc., seek medical attention immediately.
Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOI)
Monoamine oxidase inhibitors are a class of medicines used to treat depression. Depsol Tablet is not recommended if you have taken this medicine within the last 14 days due to the increased risk of serious side effects.

Drowsiness
Depsol Forte Tablet may increase your risk of dizziness, sleepiness, or visual disturbances. If you experience such symptoms, avoid driving or operating machines.
