Mode of Action of Zaptra 25mg Strip Of 10 Tablets
How Does It Work?
The Zaptra tablet has paroxetine and clonazepam. Paroxetine belongs to a class of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) medicines. It increases serotonin levels in the brain by blocking its reuptake by nerve cells. Serotonin is a hormone responsible for stabilising mood, causing happy feelings, etc. It can also help in sleeping, eating, and digestion. Clonazepam belongs to the class of benzodiazepine medicines. Functions by increasing the action of GABA, which is a chemical messenger in the brain. GABA lowers the abnormal or excessive activity of nerve cells in the brain. It is responsible for its sedation properties. Clonazepam does not affect the levels of GABA in the brain.
