Its active component is etizolam, which belongs to the benzodiazepine group of sedative medicines. It acts as an anxiolytic medicine and has a calming effect on the brain. Suprabenz 0.50 mg Tab should be taken at the same time each day to maintain its consistent level in the blood. It can be taken before or after food, in a dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. You should keep taking this medicine until your doctor has advised you to stop it, even if you feel alright. This medicine is associated with certain side effects such as nausea, headache, dizziness, sleepiness, uncoordinated muscle movements, and altered sex drive.

How Does It Work?
Suprabenz 0.50 mg Tab is a benzodiazepine medicine that has a sedative and anxiolytic effect. It acts by enhancing the action of GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid, a chemical messenger in the brain), which is responsible for suppressing the exaggerated and abnormal activity of the brain cells. An increase in GABA leads to a decrease in the activity of brain cells. The effect of Suprebenz Tab can be seen within an hour of taking the medicine.
