Seizure disorder/ epilepsy is a neurological condition in which your brain activity becomes abnormal. Due to this, there may be a change in your behaviour. Petril 0.5 MG Tablet is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat epilepsy.
Panic attacks are sudden, unreasonable feelings of fear and anxiety that cause physical symptoms like a fast heartbeat, and sweating. This causes a loss of control over yourself resulting in shaking of hands, sweating, shivering, fast heartbeat, weakness and numbness in the hands, etc. Petril 0.5 MG Tablet is used in the treatment of panic attacks like fear and stress.
When not to use?
Do not use Petril 0.5 MG Tablet if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if there is a history of clonazepam allergy. Contact your doctor and seek medical attention immediately if you notice any symptoms like skin rash, itching/swelling (especially in the face/throat/tongue), dizziness, breathing difficulty, etc.
Petril 0.5 MG Tablet is not recommended for use if you have active liver problems. This medicine is broken down and absorbed in your liver and excreted out through urine. Liver impairment may lead to the accumulation and toxicity of this medicine which may worsen your condition.
Narrow-angle glaucoma is a sudden rise of intraocular pressure (pressure within your eye) due to blocked drainage canals in your eyes. Petril 0.5 MG Tablet is not recommended for use in such cases as it can worsen your condition.
