Contramal 100 mg Injection 2 ml belongs to a class of drugs called opioid analgesics (pain killers). Contramal 100 mg Injection 2 ml is primarily used to prevent and treat moderate to severe pain. Directions for Use

Drug-Drug Interaction: Contramal 100 mg Injection 2 ml may have interaction with pain killers (pentazocine, buprenorphine, nalbuphine), blood thinners (warfarin), anti-anxiety drugs (alprazolam), fits related medicines (carbamazepine), medicines used to prevent nausea (ondansetron), antifungal drugs (ketoconazole), antibiotic (ciprofloxacin, erythromycin), anticancer drugs (ceritinib, lapatinib), immunosuppressants (fingolimod), antidepressants (fluoxetine, doxepin), antipsychotics (droperidol), and HIV/AIDS drugs (saquinavir).
Drug- Food Interaction: Contramal 100 mg Injection 2 ml may interact with grapefruit juice. Therefore, avoid intake of grapefruit juice with Contramal 100 mg Injection 2 ml as it may increase Contramal 100 mg Injection 2 ml levels in the body. Also, avoid alcohol consumption while taking Contramal 100 mg Injection 2 ml as it may increase the risk of adverse effects such as drowsiness, dizziness and difficulty in concentrating.
